Morgantown Bank & Trust, an independent, community-based financial institution, is seeking applicants for a full-time Teller/Customer Service Representative for our Bowling Green market. 

Job Summary

-Responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions

-Receives check and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, checks validity of checks and enters deposits into computer records

-Receives mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensures the payments match balances due; enters payments into computer

-Provides exceptional customer service and sales using ethical sales solutions

-Identifies referral and cross-sell opportunities

-Develops and originates deposit accounts

-Provides other sales and support duties in a dynamic work environment

 

Required Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent, minimum

-3+ years of customer service or sales experience, previous banking experience preferred

-1+ years cash handling experience

-Previous teller experience preferred

-Previous supervision experience preferred

-Ability to operate computer system

-Ability to pay close attention to detail in a busy work environment

 

Although previous banking and teller experience is preferred, a highly qualified candidate with excellent skills in the area of communication, sales, supervision and computers will be considered.
