Morgantown Bank & Trust, an independent, community-based financial institution, is seeking applicants for full-time and part-time Teller positions for our Morgantown market. 


Job Summary

-Responsible for comprehensive, prompt, and efficient customer transactions

-Receives check and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, checks validity of checks and enters deposits into computer records

-Receives mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensures the payments match balances due; enters payments into computer

-Provides exceptional customer service and sales using ethical sales solutions

-Identifies referral and cross-sell opportunities

-Develops and originates deposit accounts

-Provides other sales and support duties in a dynamic work environment

Required Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent, minimum

-2+ years of customer service or sales experience, previous banking experience preferred

-1+ years cash handling experience

-Previous teller experience preferred, but not required

-Ability to operate computer system

-Ability to pay close attention to detail in a busy work environment


Although previous banking and teller experience is preferred, a highly qualified candidate with excellent skills in the areas of communication and sales will be considered.
